Rock legend Neil Young continues his anti-GMO campaign against agriculture behemoth Monsanto and coffee giant Starbucks in the song and video for "A Rock Star Bucks a Coffee Shop."

For years, the 69-year-old songwriter has shown his support to farmers and disgust for genetically modified organisms as the co-founder of benefit concert Farmer Aid.

Last year, Young boycotted Starbucks when the company began fighting Vermont legislation that, beginning in mid-2016, will force brands to spell out genetically modified ingredients on labels. Monsanto, meanwhile, draws Young's ire for selling genetically modified seeds that farmers can't own.

This latest musical push involves rock band Promise of the Real, fronted by Willie Nelson's sons Lukas and Micah. The rockers helped Young on the track as well as his entire upcoming eco-friendly album, The Monsanto Years, which drops June 29.

The album, of course, will be available on his PonoMusic download service as well as in stores, iTunes and other digital retailers. Those who pre-order the album now will immediately receive the tracks "A Rock Star Bucks a Coffee Shop" and "Big Box."
