Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox will be the first transgender person honored with statue in Madame Tussauds.

The actress and activist's fabulous wax likeness will debut at the museum's San Francisco location on June 26 during the city's Pride Festival.

“I am so deeply honored to have been asked to be part of the Madame Tussauds legacy,” Cox said in a statement. “When I think about being who I am, a black trans woman from a working class background raised in Mobile, Alabama, this honor feels even more improbable and extraordinary. I hope that this will be a source of inspiration for everyone who encounters it to believe that their dreams matter and are possible.”

Madame Tussauds shared a video of Laverne Cox sitting with their wax figure specialists to make sure they got all her measurements correct and picked out the perfect glass eyes.

According to the museum's statement, they hope to return to their roots as a "traveling newsstand" by "showcasing the significant and revolutionary figures in our world today."
