Police confirmed to the NT News the man has been identified as Robert Turner, 29, who has now been charged with criminal damage, driving unregistered and uninsured. Turner was also a learner driver, but did not have his learner plates displayed and was not driving with supervision.
According to the Facebook post by Turner, the incident stemmed from a love triangle between himself, his ex-best mate and his ex-girlfriend.
