We imagine it would be most TV presenters' absolute worst nightmares to be caught off-guard live on camera, but BBC newsreader Carole Walker wasn't even slightly phased when the camera cut to her brushing her hair at 9am on Tuesday morning.

Instead of looking awkward and apologising Walker simply put her brush down, turned to the camera and launched straight into her script, like some kind of unshakeable news-reading machine.

She didn't even bother talking her handbag off the table, she was that chilled.
