LONDON – As well as providing an opportunity for Britain's capital to show off its orderly queuing skills, a tube strike day is also a chance for Londoners to get inventive with their means of transport.

Because buses and trains are all very well and good, but they're not particularly exciting or creative, are they? And if you're going to struggle horrendously to get into work for the day, you might as well do it in style.
