Samsung's brand new Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ phablets will be available globally on Aug. 21.
In the U.S., the two sleek phones will be carried by AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular. Each carrier has its own set of contracts, installment plans and even leasing plans.
The Galaxy Note 5 will be available in Black Sapphire and White Pearl, and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be available in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum.
After crunching all the numbers, it appears Verizon's pricing is the least expensive for a 32GB device with no contract. T-Mobile is a close second and offers the best deal for 64GB model phones. Sprint's picks up third place for lowest pricing. AT&T is the most expensive and the sheer number of payment methods is dizzying. Lastly, U.S. Cellular is only selling the 32GB model with a two-year contract with no further details.
