Playing the classic film dialogue "Lord Vader… rise…" on the video presentation, the console was officially unveiled at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.

As for the design of the console, it's emblazoned with a large image of Darth Vader on its side, along with a string of Star Wars logos lining the rest of the case. Sony's custom 500GB console also comes with a DualShock 4 wireless controller that sports a design element mimicking Vader's chest plate.

The special edition bundle is being offered along with a few gaming goodies, including Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition and a digital voucher for four other Star Wars gaming titles: Super Star Wars, Racer Revenge, Jedi Starfighter and Bounty Hunter.
