No other tuber says "Thank you" or "F**k you" quite like a potato.

Alex Craig, the owner of engraved potato-delivery service Potato Parcel, is aiming to capitalize on that notion.

Potato Parcel allows customers to engrave a personalized messages on potatoes and send them to their friends (and enemies) anonymously. And no message is too ridiculous to send on a potato. For everything from heartfelt congratulations to genuine insults, the delivery potatoes can serve up a variety of proclamations.

"I wanted to change the way we communicated with each other in a brand new way by allowing people to send an anonymous message ... on a potato," Craig tells Mashable in an email. "There are so many apps and new technologies that are trying to revolutionize communication and I wanted to do it in a much simpler way."

So, where do these special spuds come from? "We get the highest quality potatoes from none other than our friendly neighborhood Wal-Mart," says Craig.

While the concept may seem frivolous, the money certainly isn't. "We average a little over 750-1000 [orders per] month," estimates Craig. "We've done roughly over 3000 potatoes at this point since May 2015." Since the cost of the potato delivery is between $7.99 and $10.99, that comes to almost $30,000 over the course of three months.
