This year's Social Good Summit is the most globally connected yet, with 65 nations (and counting) taking part in local meetups across the globe.

The meetups will bring together everyone from citizens and doctors to activists and ministers of government to discuss how digital technology can be used to make the world a brighter place by the year 2030.

The 2015 Social Good Summit will coincide with the United Nations' ratification of its proposed 17 Sustainable Development Goals. More than 7 million people from around the world voted for the goals, making the international meetups a symbolic "ringing in" of what the U.N. calls "the people's goals."

Jamaica, Surinam, Botswana, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala and Turkmenistan will all be joining the Social Good Summit for the first time ever. Also taking part will be Liberia, epicenter of the recent Ebola breakout.

Other locations include:

Albania

Bosnia Herzegovina

China

Egypt

Germany

Indonesia

Japan

Kenya

Mongolia

Pakistan

Rwanda

Sierra Leone

Sri Lanka

Sudan

Switzerland

Thailand

Turkey

Make sure to get your tickets to the 2015 Social Good Summit in New York City on Sept. 27 and 28 before they sell out. If you're not able to attend, take a look at the United Nations Development Programme's map of local meetups for information about how to join an event near you.

The Social Good Summit is a two-day conference about the intersection of technology and social good hosted by Mashable, the United Nations Foundation, the United Nations Development Programme and the 92nd Street Y.
