Police shoved rapper Wiz Khalifa to the ground in the Los Angeles airport after he refused to get off his hoverboard, according to the rapper's Twitter.
Khalifa, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, tweeted that he was detained by police and shoved the ground in LAX. He claims he was riding a hoverboard and refused to get off, though it actually may have been a hands-free scooter, which he was photographed riding days earlier.
Haven't been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun.— Cameron (@wizkhalifa) August 22, 2015
Khalifa then shared a video of his confrontation with police at LAX.
All because I didn't want to ditch the technogy everyone will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids. pic.twitter.com/7F0KIQgFrA— Cameron (@wizkhalifa) August 23, 2015
In that video, he tells police, "I didn't do nothing anyway. What you want to do? Put me in jail because I didn't listen to what you say? We can talk. We can have all the conversations you want to. You can end up on TMZ, destined to become as famous as you wanna be."
The next video shows Khalifa on the ground, being detained by several officers. There is no video account for the time in between, but Khalifa was restrained by seven officers; at least one was heard yelling "Stop resisting!" Khalifa was heard repeatedly saying, "I'm not resisting."

Based on Khalifa's following tweets, he seems to have been let go without being taken to jail.
