Calm down, people One Direction is not breaking up, despite rumors to the contrary.

Whispers of an extended hiatus have been circulating following the shakeup in the band's lineup following He Who Must Not Be Named's departure earlier this year. Things seemed a bit more serious following statements from anonymous sources, but now we finally have a confirmation from 1D themselves explaining that yes, they'll be taking a break, but not breaking up.

Directioners have ben pretty calm through this situation because they know how hard the boys have been working to make their dreams come true.

The band has released four albums in as many years after Simon Cowell plucked them from The X Factor to make beautiful harmonies and have detailed plans to release a 5th album later this year. Between that and a few more tour dates, fans know that Harry, Niall, Louis and Liam deserve to #HaveAGoodRest.
