Enes Kanter is a very large NBA player -- until you stand him next to the world's tallest man, that is.
Kanter, a power forward who hails from Turkey and plays for the Oklahoma City, stands 6-foot-11 and weighs 245 pounds. But that's nothing compared to his countryman Sultan Kosen.

Here are a couple shots of Kanter and Kosen hanging out this week.

With the World Tallest Man! (8'3) "Sultan Kosem" from Turkey. We should try to get him in @okcthunder @NBA @GWRLol pic.twitter.com/77i0xl7xxO— Enes Kanter (@Enes_Kanter) August 27, 2015
Keep in mind the guy who looks like a munchkin in these photos is the 6-foot-11, 245-pound Kanter.
That's because the 32-year-old Kosen stands a whopping 8-foot-3.
The tallest man in officially recorded history is Robert Wadlow, an 8-foot-11 American who died at age 22 in 1940. The tallest NBA player ever is actually a tie -- Manute Bol and Gheorghe Muresan both stood 7-foot-7 during their playing days. But even that would appear average height standing next to Kosen.
In conclusion, even really tall people can look short when standing next to taller people. Mind. Blown.
Snark aside, though, it is always mildly interesting to get a new perspective.
