Selena Gomez's name is in both of Justin Bieber's new videos, but he's doing just fine

Justin Bieber is a new man. Sort of.

He's currently promoting his new album, due November 13, and doing his best to prove to the world he's not the bratty kid he once was. Bieber even debuted a new haircut reminiscent of the emo frontmen of the aughts and cried onstage at the VMAs this past Sunday, in case you needed proof that he has a sensitive soul

Bieber also premiered his

You can see that Selena's name shares the screen with the worlds "hope" and "love." It's been assumed that the song was written for Gomez, and this isn't exactly dispelling rumors.

It could be a sweet tribute to a love lost... except for the fact that Selena's name also appeared in Bieber's "Where Are Ü Now" video, which premiered in June.

Though it may seem unlikely that #Jelena will end up living happily ever after together, we'll always have the art their young love inspired. Bieber's "Beauty and the Beat" is a sparkling, timeless example of his devotion: "Buns out, wiener, but I gotta keep my eye out for Selena."

Nothing that pure ever truly dies.
