The Summer of Breakups continues unabated: Actors Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt, who have been a couple for the past 18 years, are calling it quits.
"With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history," the couple said in a joint statement to People, which broke the news. "We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward."

Word of the breakup shouldn't be shocking to gossip-mongers who've been keeping a close eye on Hamm for the past year. The Mad Men star has had a rough 2015: He entered a treatment center for alcohol abuse in February, and was plagued by so many breakup rumors in the months following that he and Westfeldt felt compelled to release a statement saying they weren't splitting back in April.
Still, it's tough not to feel a little misty after learning that Hammfeldt (what, everyone didn't call them that?) is no more. They were together for 18 years! That's like 180 years in Hollywood time. That's as long as Maisie Williams has been alive.
Naturally, the Internet isn't taking it well ... except for those who are:
