Taylor Swift had a blank space, baby, and she just filled it with an Emmy.

The award magnet won an Original Interactive Program statuette on Thursday, for a free app that placed fans directly into her "Blank Space" music video's mansion setting --allowing them to explore its environment and find hidden objects.

"The app is a cross between theater, a music video and a video game," Joseph Kahn, the video and the app's director told Mashable in November. "I had to direct it more like a stage show than a music video so the audience can choose any way they want to look; we had to create reasons for them to turn their head or look up or look down."

Swift served as executive producer for the "American Express Unstaged Taylor Swift Blank Space Experience App," which Radical Media developed for iOS and Android.

UPDATE, Sept. 12: Swift just received her Emmy during a tour stop.

The Television Academy revealed the winners of several Emmy categories -- Animation, Costumes for a Variety Program or Special, Motion Design and Interactive Media -- on Thursday. The awards will be presented at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on Sept. 12.

Swift, of course, wasn't the only big-name music winner: Katy Perry's squad won Outstanding Costumes For A Variety Program Or A Special for their Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show outfits. Costume designers Marina Toybina and Courtney Webster spearheaded Perry's (and Left Shark's) wardrobe.

Perry holds the record for most-watched halftime show ever with 118.5 million viewers.
