David Cameron offended an entire British region with an awkward mic slip

Politicians and microphones -- particularly microphones that are switched on and recording at inopportune moments -- are a pretty dangerous combination.

Cameron was getting ready to make a speech today in Leeds, the BBC reports, when he told someone sat off-camera: "We just thought people in Yorkshire hate everyone else, we didn't realise they hate each other so much."
