We are a Doritos generation. Once again the company proves itself worthy of that title.

America's favorite tortilla chip has paired with It Gets Better Project, which provides outreach to LGBT youth, to create a limited edition bag of Doritos with chips in — you guessed it — every color of the rainbow.

The Doritos Rainbows, which Doritos tells Mashable are Cool Ranch flavored, are available exclusively online, where $10 or more gets you a bag of the coveted Doritos.

All funds go directly to the It Gets Better Project, a nonprofit organization whose mission statement is "to communicate to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth around the world that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to make it better for them."

A representative from the It Gets Better Project tells Mashable "Doritos reached out to the It Gets Better Project because they wanted to celebrate the LGBT community and provide support to LGBT youth."

The responses on social media have so far been mostly positive:

Life is precious and so are you, never let anyone make you think otherwise! #BOLDANDBETTER— Danny G (@ThatsSoDanny) September 17, 2015

Doritos Rainbows are here. Get a bag, show your support and inspire others to be #BOLDANDBETTER at http://t.co/EuPipqO7PZ— Jessica Z (@JessicaZeee) September 17, 2015

The hashtag #boldandbetter is a worthy one.

After all, a world where eating junk food supports a cause that improves life for teens who are in danger of feeling marginalized, bullied or unworthy in any way really is a world that's getting better all the time.
