Jon Hamm surely must have won an Emmy for Mad Men by now. Right?
Apparently not, because we live in a cruel world -- and one in which Hamm has repeatedly faced heady competition from Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad. But at least Hamm is in good company; some of the most respected actors in TV have been nominated for multiple Emmys without ever winning one.
Here are 16 actors who have been snubbed repeatedly despite their iconic television roles. For some of them -- Hamm and Poehler in particular -- this year will be their last chance to take home the gold for the roles they're best known for.
