Drake and Future are rap's new super duo.

The rappers dropped the semi-surprise mixtape What a Time to Be Alive on iTunes Sept. 20 at 8 p.m.

Rumors of the mixtape began swirling about a week before Drake officially announced it, sharing the diamond-encrusted cover art and release date on his Instagram.

He also shared the tracklist for the heavily-anticipated mixtape.

Producer credits show that the majority of the tape was handled by Metro Boomin, who also crafted much of Future's last album, Dirty Sprite 2.

Noah "40" Shebib, who collaborates heavily with Drake, only produced the final song on the mixtape, "30 for 30 Freestyle."

Drake debuted the mixtape on his Beats 1 show OVO Sound about an hour before the official iTunes drop. As expected, it's full of bangers, with standout tracks like "Diamonds Dancing," "Jumpman," "Change Locations" and "I'm the Plug." The album immediately began trending on Twitter, with fans weighing in on their instant analysis and favorite tracks.

But over on Instagram, there's one person who probably isn't enjoying this mixtape glory.

And then there's Kid Cudi, who was maybe subtweeting Drake and Future with this tweet? Bring on the rap beef.
