Snapping photos from the front row has become the norm for any a fashion show goer.

Taking this notion a step forward, Anrealage made its entire Paris show not only photo-friendly, but essential for viewing. For its spring 2016 collection, the Japanese brand dimmed lights and offered instructions: Snap photos with flash to uncover hidden details, said a Siri-esque voice.

"Reflect reality to make a new reality," Anrealage Creative Director Kunihiko Morinaga said.

A flurry of looks in various shapes and sizes came down the runway on Tuesday. There was a romper that, at first glance, came in a gray hue. Upon an iPhone's instant flash, it revealed a houndstooth print. A ruffled black A-line dress transformed into a royal purple; a white shift dress became another print altogether; another black dress turned into a galaxy print, which was described as a collaboration with Star Wars.

It was a sight to (literally!) be seen.

Morinaga collaborated with a company that specializes in reflective paint. In past seasons, the designer has dabbled with utilizing UV lights to showcase shape, and for another developed fabric that repels phone signals.

"Combining the technology made by man's hands and the high technology made by the latest machines may be our future task," he told Vogue Italia.

With merging fashion and technology, the future according to Morinaga was now, well, the now.
