According to The New York Times, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to make a top-secret appearance on Saturday Night Live's 41st season premiere.

The episode will be hosted by Miley Cyrus, who will also be the night's musical guest. Barring any last minute scheduling conflicts, Clinton will reportedly appear alongside current SNL cast member Kate McKinnon, who took over as Saturday Night Live's resident Hillary impersonator last season. (She replaced Vanessa Bayer, who in turn replaced Amy Poehler.)

Clinton last appeared on SNL during her campaign for the 2008 election, greeting an identically-dressed Poehler in the show’s cold open.

As with her previous appearance, this one would poke fun at public and media perceptions of Clinton -- and also give her an opportunity to appear humorous and relatable to SNL's extensive audience. Though the Times notes that Clinton's availability could change suddenly, her probably SNL appearance would be consistent with the former Secretary of State's recent visits to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, and her new interview with Lena Dunham.

NBC declined to comment.
