LONDON -- When American tourist Scott Waters decided to write some things he learned on a recent visit to small-town England, he probably wasn't expecting it to be shared well over 50,000 times and spark an international conversation about the differences between two countries.

But this is the Internet, and stranger things have happened (and, to be fair, his list is pretty brilliant). In 100 bullet points, Waters manages to cover everything from television and national pastimes to the BBC and guns.

It's difficult to pick favourites, but we're especially keen on "5,000 years ago, someone arranged a lot of rocks all over, but no one is sure why," and "'Fanny' is a naughty word, as is 'shag.'"

The Internet has also embraced Waters' list.

As more and more people chipped in, Waters began to make additions.

The list has also brought up a fair few talking points.

Sadly, though, the list couldn't go on for ever.

"This was my fourth visit," Waters, who lives in Florida, told BuzzFeed. "Last time I stayed for three months. It was also my girlfriend's first time outside of London so I wanted her to really see the country up close."

"We stayed with my relatives around Redruth and friends upcountry travelling by rail and bus to avoid Americans."
