'Jaws 19' teaser feeds hungry 'Back to the Future' fans

Back to the Future Part II made a lot of promises about 2015. You've heard them all by now: We were supposed to have flying cars, hoverboards, fax machines in our closets!

Thankfully, Universal is there for us. The studio behind the BTTF franchise has released a trailer for Jaws 19, the film promoted by a 3D shark that attacks Marty McFly early in

Jaws 19 may never exist, but the trailer spoofs 2015's very-real sequel fatigue by describing every real (and fictional) Jaws movie -- much like the credits of 22 Jump Street. The clear winner is Jaws 15, in which we "battled a Russian shark named Ivan Sharkovsky." Though there's also something to be said for Jaws 17: Fifty Scales of Grey.

So now we have a new problem in 2015: we're missing out on a truly amazing shark filmography. At least our reality has Fast and Furious.
