The PlayStation 4 is getting more affordable, just in time for the holidays.

Starting Oct. 9, Sony's nearly two-year-old console will be sold for $349.99 in the U.S -- down from $399.99. It's also receiving a similar price drop in Canada: the console will now be $429 CAD.

That also means all console bundles, including the upcoming bundle for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection -- which includes the first three games in the franchise -- will also receive a price reduction.

At the Tokyo Game Show in September, Sony announced a similar price drop for the Japanese PlayStation 4. A Target advertisement also hinted a the price drop last week.

Here are the upcoming PlayStation 4 bundles for the holidays, from the PlayStation Blog.
