A Twitter feud seems to have been avoided, and a congratulations is in order to everyone involved, and all of us, really.

Over the weekend, Amy Schumer used the Kardashians as an example in her SNL monologue calling for better role models for girls, and she has to have known there would be backlash.

"And is that a great message for little girls?" asked Schumer. "A whole family of women who take the faces they were born with as, like, a light suggestion? Is that great? No!"

Schumer called out Khloe, in particular, for seeming to be a more average Kardashian before she began her fitness journey and "lost a Kendall." Khloe responded with a not-so-subtle subtweet.

No need 2 tear down others just 2 make urself feel bigger. It actually makes u quite small. I'm on a healthy journey. I don't care 4the hate— Khloé (@khloekardashian) October 11, 2015

Schumer responded with a peace offering and a photo of a cute little girl, which is a very smart way to make sure a war of words doesn't escalate. Just look at her face!

Nothing but love for that family. I like idea of sending women the message to be happy in their own skin. #peace pic.twitter.com/95KJVdRY6i— Amy Schumer (@amyschumer) October 12, 2015

Schumer has seen the power of bonding with Jennifer Lawrence, maybe it's time she consider the benefits of forming an alliance with the Kardashian crew.
