Apple's newest iMac and desktop accessories are here, so let's rip the packaging open and get a closer look.

For 2015, Apple updated its 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs to feature new screens and a host of internal hardware improvements, maintaining their status as the best all-in-one machines you can buy. Apple also revamped its wireless keyboard, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad, finally doing away with the need for pesky AA batteries.

The design hasn't changed at all, but the ultra-thin iMac was already gorgeous, so this isn't really an issue. For the accessories, the look has changed subtly: The keyboard gets Apple's new San Francisco font, and the trackpad is now white.

If these freshly upgraded machines sound appealing to you, they're available for purchase on Apple's website right now. And before you laugh at my usage of "ginormous" in the headline, those are Apple's words, not mine.
