On Tuesday night, Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton, Martin O'Malley, Larry David and Lincoln Chafee...wait, what? That's not Larry?

We're hearing reports that the man on stage is Bernie Sanders, not Larry David -- but if you ask us, Sanders is doing a pretty, pretty good impression of the comedian.

Twitter quickly noticed during the debate that the two have almost identical voices, especially when comparing Sanders to David's George Steinbrenner character from Seinfeld.

Is @BernieSanders Larry David? Close your eyes and listen closely. #DemDebate— Lowell Melser (@MelserWBAL) October 14, 2015

Bernie Sanders should curb his enthusiasm. Get it? Because he sounds like Larry David when he shouts? Kudos, me. #DemDebate— Brad Walsh (@BradWalsh) October 14, 2015

I can't believe Larry David hasn't broken character yet. #BernieSanders #DemDebate— The Weeks (@theweeks) October 14, 2015
