It appears the future of Australia is "fantastic."

That's according to the New South Wales Premier Mike Baird who has taken to getting around the streets in the iconic Back to the Future car, the DeLorean. He reckons he has seen the future, and it is impressive.

Our favourite dorky dad posted a clip of his new wheels to Facebook on Oct. 21 to honour Back to the Future Day. Marty McFly and Doc Brown time travel to Oct. 21, 2015 from the year 1985 in Back To The Future II.

"Great Scott!! Turns out we still need roads..." Baird wrote. Before saying "I've just seen the future of New South Wales and it's fantastic."
