Rounding out its celebration of Back to the Future Day, Toyota created not one, but three modern interpretations of Marty McFly's dream truck from Back to the Future Part II and simultaneously debuted them in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. I think you'll agree; the result is pure nostalgia.

Expertly blending 1980s magic with a modern truck, this 2016 Toyota Tacoma sports some subtle but distinctive upgrades.

Toyota then completed the transformation with a custom tailgate, complete with the iconic "TOYOTA" logo. And 1985 mud flaps were bolted up -- so onlookers won't forget the truck's four-wheel drive system.

All told, it's a simple build, but one that makes us very happy. Needless to say, this isn't just Marty's dream truck; it's ours now, too.
