LONDON -- The release date for Adele's long-awaited third album has finally been announced. 25 will get its global release on November 20, an Instagram post from Adele's account said.

In further Adele news, BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw dropped several hints (around 01:16:34) that suggest he will be giving the new single its first airplay this Friday.

The single, which received an exclusive preview during this week's UK X Factor advert break, put an end to rumors of Adele's come-back.

Today's announcements follow a note shared by the singer on Twitter in which she apologizes for the lengthy wait between 21 (released in 2012) and 25, explaining that her third album was delayed for so long because "life happened."
