Well, sort of. And... sort of.

Amazon quietly revealed in September that it had picked up a full season of a pilot first posted to Prime in August: Sneaky Pete, a con-artist drama conceived by ex-Walter White Bryan Cranston. Now the retailer has announced that the show is coming to Prime Video next year.

The series follows a criminal (Giovanni Ribisi) who assumes the identity of his former cellmate, Pete, after leaving prison. "In order to keep the charade up, he plays the part of a skip tracer, taking down criminals worse than himself," according to the show's logline -- "and discovering a family life he's never had."

The series, co-produced with Sony Pictures Television, also stars Marin Ireland, Margo Martindale, Peter Gerety, Libe Barer and Shane McRae -- and features a cameo from Cranston himself in its first episode. Its pilot was directed by Horrible Bosses helmer Seth Gordon.

Season 1 will debut on Prime Video in 2016.
