LONDON -- After spending the last few days taunting fans on Twitter, Coldplay has announced details of its forthcoming album, A Head Full Of Dreams. The band's seventh record will be released on December 4 and feature guest appearances from Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo.

Lead vocalist Chris Martin previously suggested that A Head Full Of Dreams, which has been produced by Norwegian duo Stargate as well as the band's long-time collaborator Rik Simpson, could be Coldplay's last.

"It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it's like the last Harry Potter book or something like that," he told Zane Lowe in an interview for the BBC last year.

"Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something."

As reported by Billboard, the tracklisting for A Head Full Of Dreams is as follows:

1. A Head Full Of Dreams

2. Birds

3. Hymn For The Weekend

4. Everglow

5. Adventure Of A Lifetime

6. Fun

7. Kaleidoscope

8. Army Of One

9. Amazing Day

10. Colour Spectrum

11. Up&Up

Coldplay joined Nick Grimshaw on BBC's Radio One this morning, where rumours (from 01:36) of a 2016 Glastonbury headlining slot for the band were also discussed.

"Wouldn't that be wonderful? We'd love to do it" Martin said. "That's our spiritual home as a band. Maybe we should have called ahead and asked them."

If the band tops the bill at next year's event, it will be their fourth appearance as Glastonbury headliners.

Along with details of the new record, the band also released a new single, "Adventure Of A Lifetime," which is available for listen below.
