Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a.k.a. the guy who may have the hots for Alicia on The Good Wife, a.k.a. Papa Winchester, a.k.a. Denny Duquette, is joining another of your favorite shows: The Walking Dead.

But we warn you: He isn't playing a nice guy.

Morgan is said to have secured the role of Negan, a character best known to most as the villainous man who [major spoiler alert] kills Glenn in the Walking Dead comic books.

The character basically makes The Governor look like Travis from Fear the Walking Dead. Negan is the cruel, profanity-loving leader of antagonistic survivor group the Saviors, who gets supplies by essentially strong-arming neighboring communities.

Morgan will reportedly first appear in the Season 6 finale.

The Walking Dead producers apparently took great measures to try to cover up the introduction of the villain -- even issuing the casting notice under the fake character name "Orin," according to THR. Producers have since pretty much come clean about the character's real identity, with Robert Kirkman even tweeting a welcome.

The Walking Dead is currently just a few episodes away from ending the first half of its sixth season.

And we're still wondering what happened to Glenn.
