Despite a grueling 20 hours of labor, Tommitrise Collins from Macon, Georgia was determined to complete her psychology test on Thursday while she was in labor at the Coliseum Medical Center.

According to local news outlet Fox 5 News, Thursday was the only day that Collins could take the exam, so she took her laptop to the hospital and completed the exam before the pain became too much.

"It took me 4-5 hours after the opening of the test to try to put the pain to the side and do it so I wouldn't have to do it later and I could enjoy my newborn," Collins told Fox 5 News.

While Collins was taking the exam, her sister snapped a photo, which she later shared to her Facebook page.

“This is what you call ‘Strong Priorities," Collins's sister Shanell Brinkley-Chapman wrote on Facebook.

Fortunately, everything worked out for Collins in the end -- she passed the exam, and gave birth to a healthy baby girl, named Tyler Elise.

However, Collins wasn't pleased with her score, and told Fox 5 News that she requested to take the exam again, where she received a B.

Collins is scheduled to graduate in December of 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and now has even more motivation.

"She is my life now, and the way I look at it is, she will always have me to depend on so my goals will not be put on hold," Collins told Fox 5 News. "I don't want to just barely make it by, I want my child to live comfortably, and I want to show people that just because I am considered a young mother doesn't mean I have to be considered a bad mother."
