Several media sources, citing family members, have named the victims of Friday's deadly mass shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado as 36-year-old Jennifer Markovsky and 29-year-old Ke’Arre Stewart.

The third fatality, as previously reported, was University of Colorado-Colorado Springs police officer Garrett Swasey.

Family members told media in her native Hawaii that Markovsky, a mother of two, was at the clinic in support of a friend, who was injured with a gunshot wound to a hand.

Markovsky's father mourned her death in a post to his Facebook page.

Ke'Arre M. Stewart, also killed, was a veteran of the second Iraq War and leaves behind a wife and children. One family member told Denver media Stewart was outside the clinic making a phone call when he was shot by the gunman but was able to rush inside and warn others.

Friends from Stewart's home state of Texas have set up a GoFundMe page to "to ease the financial burden on his family stemming from this tragic loss."

Meanwhile, Swasey was remembered by friends and family for his service as a six-year veteran of the UCCS police force as well as for his work as a co-pastor at Hope Chapel in Colorado Springs.

On Sunday, his family released a statement, calling the father of two, "a devoted husband... and a wonderful father."

Robert Lewis Dear, Jr., 57, is currently in custody for the deadly shootings that injured 11 others. When being arrested, Dear allegedly told authorities, "no more baby parts."

In a statement posted Sunday morning to Twitter, Planned Parenthood blamed recent rhetoric for the shooting.

We now know the man responsible for the tragic shooting at PP's health center in CO was motivated by opposition to safe and legal abortion.— Planned Parenthood (@PPact) November 29, 2015

The increase in hateful rhetoric & smear campaigns against abortion providers & patients creates an environment breeds acts of violence.— Planned Parenthood (@PPact) November 29, 2015

Americans reject the hatred that fueled this tragedy. We cannot accept this as normal. #StandWithPP— Planned Parenthood (@PPact) November 29, 2015

GOP candidates, particularly Carly Fiorina, who has been a harsh critic of Planned Parenthood, condemned the shooting but also dismissed claims that anti-abortion rhetoric was to blame, saying on Fox News Sunday morning that such connections were, "typical left-wing tactics."
