The Eagles of Death Metal have landed back in Paris.
The rock band took the stage during a U2 concert in the city's AccordHotel Arena on Monday night, performing for the first time since a deadly terrorist attack during their show at the Bataclan concert hall killed dozens of audience members. The band was able to escape offstage during the attacks, but a member of their crew, merchandise manager Nick Alexander, was killed.
During the U2 concert, which will air later on HBO, lead singer Bono welcomed the band to the stage, introducing them as a group "whose lives will forever be a part of the city of Paris."
"They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago, and we would like to offer them ours tonight," he added.
With that, the band took the stage, plunging into a high energy rendition of Patti Smith's "People Have the Power." Smith herself also performed the empowering song during a U2 concert the day before.
Fans also captured the band performing "I Love You All the Time."
U2 was previously set to perform these two shows in November, but cancelled it after the deadly Bataclan attacks.
