Facebook announced the most popular check in locations in 2015 on Wednesday, and parks topped the list: theme parks, national parks, urban parks ...
Destinations in the U.S. dominated the list, taking nine of the top 20 spots. But bear in mind that the list doesn't necessarily reflect the top tourism destinations of the world, just where people decided to check in.
1. Disney Parks
Disney ranked first, but it's a bit of a trick with the numbers: This includes check-ins at Disney's properties in Florida, California, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
2. Universal Studios Properties
Universal's properties in California, Florida, Japan and Singapore were also very popular.
3. Times Square
Times Square may be terrible for locals, but visitors are into it.
4. Eiffel Tower
Paris' monument is a favorite.
5. Niagara Falls
6. Siam Paragon
One of the biggest shopping malls in Asia has an aquarium.
7. Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon was the most popular natural location.
8. Yosemite National Park
Followed closely by the awesome Yosemite National Park.
9. The Louvre
The most popular museum in the world.
10. Central Park
