Hop the kangaroo just wants to give his feline friend a tickle -- but the cat is not having a bar of it.
In a video filmed by Paul Cesnick in the town of Bega, in New South Wales, Hop is left confused after the cat rejects his attempts at affection. It started off so well, with a little scratch between the eyes, but it isn't long before the cat lashes out and runs off, leaving poor Hop with tears in his eyes.
It is a lonely life for Hop sometimes, with the native Australian often just playing with the clothes on the washing line.
