LONDON -- There's so much excitement around the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens that even the buildings have started celebrating.
The Spire of Dublin (also known, quite appropriately in this case, as the Monument of Light), is a 121-metre-tall (397-foot) structure in Ireland's capital.
On Tuesday night, to celebrate the release of the new Star Wars film, the tower was turned into a giant lightsaber.
It's fair to say the Spire really rocked its new look.

Ultimately, though, the lightsaber was at its most impressive when viewed from a distance.
