Apple gave us a sneak peek at its store of the future and Jony Ive's "secret design studio" in a new teaser that aired on CBS Thursday night.
The video comes ahead of a longer Charlie Rose segment to air Sunday on 60 Minutes.

The video is unusual for the notoriously secretive company that --other than its massive product launches -- rarely gives the public much insight into what goes on at its Cupertino headquarters. Ive is the famous design chief behind many of the company's most iconic products, including the iPhone and iPad. Though Vanity Fair was given access to the studio while reporting an exhaustive profile earlier this ear, interviews with Ive are rare.

The segment will also feature Apple's head of retail, Angela Ahrendts, who offers a look at the company's "store of the future," which suggests the company may be eyeing a broader redesign of its retail locations. In a photo posted by 60 Minutes Thursday, the store looked like the recently redesigned campus store at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino.

In addition to touring Apple's headquarters, Rose also sat down with Apple CEO Tim Cook to discuss Apple's manufacturing of products in China, encryption technology and other issues, according to a CBS news release.
The spot comes on the same day Apple announced Jeff Williams would be Apple's new chief operating officer, a position that has been left vacant since Tim Cook became CEO in 2011. The company also expanded the role of senior VP Phil Schiller, who will now oversee the App Store, and promoted Johny Srouji to senior VP of hardware.
