The gif depicts David Bowie through the ages and across a variety of looks and alter egos, from Ziggy Stardust to the Thin White Duke and the clown in Ashes to Ashes, serving as a reminder of just how relentlessly inventive and surprising he always was.
Since he shot to fame in the late 60s, with "Space Oddity" introducing a whole generation to a world they'd never imagined, through the 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond, his image changed as frequently as his music.
Green has created a whole series of illustrations of David Bowie.
