If you can kill a duck and turn it into gumbo, Phil Robertson will endorse your presidential campaign.

The star of A&E's Duck Dynasty said Ted Cruz would do just that in a video released by the Cruz campaign.

In the minute-long video, Robertson explains just how easy it is to get his support, calling his "qualifications for President of the United States...rather narrow."

"Is he or she Godly, does he or she love us, can he or she do the job -- and finally, would they kill a duck and put him in a pot and make him a good duck gumbo?" says Robertson, who is dressed in camouflage and ready for a duck hunt.

Cruz, he says, is the only candidate that "fits the bill."

"He's godly. He loves us. He's the man for job and he will go duck hunting, because today, we're going," Robertson says.

The last 20 seconds of the video shows scenes from Robertson and Cruz's duck hunt, including one in which the two casually sip coffee. Cruz sports camouflage and face paint as well, and Robertson is seen blowing on a duck call. Both men have shotguns.

"Cruz, the reason we're going to vote for you, all of us, is because you're one of us, my man," Robertson says, giving the candidate a thumbs up. "It's now or never.
