A warning to anyone hoping to see the Backstreet Boys make headlines again: You probably didn't want it this way.

Nick Carter, best known for being a member of the boy band, stumbled into the Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West, Florida on Wednesday with another man in a manner the Key West Police report described as "heavily intoxicated," NBC News writes.

When the bartender refused to serve the two extremely drunk patrons, Carter got aggressive and, because alcohol makes you think you're larger than life, he allegedly attempted to choke the bouncer while his friend headbutted an employee. Both folks were booked for misdemeanor battery charges.

To add insult to injury, Carter's occupation on the police report was initially listed as "none," according to TMZ. It's since been revised to "singer."
