If anything can compete with the excitement of finally seeing what the iPhone 8 (or X) looks like in person, it's our first experience inside Steve Jobs Theater at the all new Apple Park Campus.

That's why this latest drone preview of the still-under-construction Apple Park Campus — less than a mile away from Apple's original campus on One Infinite Loop — is so stunning.

It gets us within a few hundred feet of the 120,000-square-foot theater where Apple will hold its iPhone 8 unveiling. You can even see the people inside the circular, glass enclosure. They're clustered in the center, likely planning for the big reveal next week.

The last time Mashable saw the Steve Jobs Theater, the massive, single-piece roof was just being placed. Now the building is basically finished and looks incredible.

You'll notice, by the way, that you can't see any of the 1,000 seats. That's because they're all below ground. We got a little glimpse of what they look like last week.

If you want to know what if feels like to sit inside the venue and witness one of Apple's most important product launches in nearly a decade, follow along with Mashable's live coverage on September 12.
