The upcoming feature was tested this weekend with an "#anti-valentine room" that encouraged users to post videos about Valentine's day. The room also pulled in Twitter messages with the tag "#antivalentine" in them, as well as music with the hashtag #antivalentine on the "Twitter for music" service Blip.fm.
In short, 12seconds is trying to bring organized, directed conversations to the video-blogging site: we think it's a smart idea that might even convince us to finally post a video to our account. Look out for the full launch of 12seconds rooms in the coming weeks.
