Fictional Bionics Company Stars in Clever Video Game Ad [VIDEO]

Fake bionics technology has come a long way since The Six Million Dollar Man.

This ad for a company called Sarif Industries shows people enjoying their new bionic parts. A woman plays piano with her robotic hands. A man peers from a hilltop with camera-like eyes and sends the image to his girlfriend's phone. A dad with a fake arm plays catch with his son. You get the idea.

A visit to Sarif Industries' website doesn't yield much more information, but a Google search does. Sarif, it turns out, is a fictional company in the Eidos game franchise Deus Ex. The hero of the series, Adam Jensen, is a private security officer at Sarif in the year 2027. The ad is actually for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, an Xbox and PlayStation 3 game due in August.
