Rich man-child Dandy Mott, in a gruesome season about freaks, was the most terrifying freak in the land during Wednesday's American Horror Story: Freak Show finale.
As the freshly minted ringleader, Dandy had yet another meltdown, this time taking his frustrations out by murdering nearly the entire freak show lineup with a golden gun.
The massacre, early in the episode no less, sent viewers into a tizzy. Like clockwork, many expressed their shock and disbelief on Twitter:

And die Dandy (Finn Wittrock) did at the hands of the only remaining survivors: the three-breasted Desiree Dupree (Angela Bassett), lobster boy Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters) and "The Siamese Sisters" Bette and Dot Taller (Sarah Paulson).
The foursome -- a threesome if you count the Tattler twins as one person -- got sweet revenge in a entertainingly "theatrical" manner, putting Dandy in a Chinese Water Torture Cell similar to the one escape artist Harry Houdini used.
Unlike Houdini, though, Dandy could not escape and the survivors watched him drown, but not before Desiree uttered an all-too-true line that sums up what we all knew:
"You may look like a motion picture dream boat but you are the biggest freak of them all."

It was hard to concentrate on the rest of the finale after that early shocking massacre, so we'll just leave it at that. Dandy stole the show, just like he always wanted.
