While Joost may be getting all the hype, it does have a major competitor in the Internet TV space: Babelgum is founded by billionaire Silvia Scaglia, co-founder of Italian telecoms company Fastweb, and funded by Scaglia's own money. The company is trying to strike deals with Hollywood studios.
What's more, it's good platform that stacks up well against Joost.
