Benedict Cumberbatch and wife Sophie Hunter announced the birth of their newborn son, Mashable confirmed on Saturday. A name has not yet been announced.
"Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son,” a spokesperson for Cumberbatch told Mashable. “We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”
The couple announced that they were expecting in January. They wed on Valentine’s Day in Mottistone on England’s Isle of Wight.
Upon hearing news of the Cumberbaby's arrival, Cumberbabes began speculating about his name.
