Don't hassle me, I'm art.

From Steve Zissou to Phil Connors and every character in between, Bill Murray's body of work has become perhaps the most quoted and talked about on the Internet. This, of course, has led to a large amount of Bill Murray fan art. And now that art is coming to a San Francisco gallery.

Dubbed "The Murray Affair," the art show will be held on August 8 at SF Public Works and anyone is invited to submit art for the showcase up until July 21. Curator Ezra Croft says that the show will feature close to 230 pieces in total.

"We want to create an art party atmosphere akin to the energy of Andy Warhol-esque factory parties," Croft tells Mashable. "We think San Francisco wants it. We think Bill Murray would want it that way, too."

Croft, who previously received some attention for his successful art show dedicated to Nicolas Cage, says that the goal for the party is to represent everything Murray, and get some of the pieces in peoples' homes.

Take a look through some of the pieces to be featured at the show below. If you were looking for a reason to drop everything and go to San Francisco, this is it.
